Managing saved searches
You can manage your private and subscribed saved searches through the Manage page.
- Open a list and click the Saved Search drop-down icon on the toolbar.
- Select Manage to show all saved searches related to the current list. The saved search window shows a search form where you can search for a saved search by name and status.
This table shows the display fields available in the saved search item:
Field Description Saved search name The name specified to the saved search by the owner. You can change the name at any time, and it does not need to be unique.
A red alert icon is displayed on this field if the saved search is invalid. A yellow alert icon is displayed when the saved search is inactive.
Description The description of the saved search. Owner The name of the report owner. This field shows the owner’s actor ID if no first and last name are specified. Last Updated The date when the saved search was last modified. Default The blue tag in the saved search item that indicates that the saved search is set as the default. Subscribe The green tag that indicates that you are subscribed to that specific saved search item. - Select a saved search item to configure.
This table shows the available actions that you can perform in a saved search:
Action Description Make Default Sets the saved search as default to automatically load the saved search when accessing the list. You can only set one default saved search at a time. Activate or Deactivate Updates the status of a saved search. Inactive saved searches are not displayed in the Saved Search menu but are still available in the Manage page. Move To Top, Move To Bottom, Move Up, and Move Down Changes the order of your active saved searches. Note: Move Up and Move Down actions are displayed as up and down arrows within the list.Unsubscribe Unsubscribes from a saved search, removing the saved search from the Saved Search menu. Note: You can unsubscribe from a saved search that you own, even if other users are still using and subscribed to the same saved search.Delete Deletes the saved search. This action is valid only for saved searches that have not been published. Rename Changes the saved search name and description. You can only perform this action on private saved searches and library items you own. Note: When you rename a saved search, the updated name automatically applies to all users who have subscribed to it.
