Actor Responsibility Overview Report

With release 2025.04, Infor introduced the Actor Responsibility Overview Report. This report lets company managers and system administrators quickly identify gaps in the user provisioning process that could prevent an actor from performing all of their responsibilities within the application. The report can also be helpful in preparing for an audit.

The report consolidates information from various sources, elminiating the need for administrators to query multiple sources.

The report can be used to report on actors who are:
  • Internal, meaning they have an identitiy on the SSOPV2 service. The report ignores external users, such as, Suppliers and Candidates.
  • Active, meaning their record has not been set to Disabled.
  1. As a user with access to the security administration menu, navigate to Administration Console > Security > Security Reports and select the Actor Responsibility Overview report.
  2. The current data area is selected by default. Make selections for these fields.
    • Actor or Actor Group. If you select "Actor," select the "Run for Single Actor" checkbox.

If you select Actor and do not check "Run For Single Actor" before clicking Submit, the report runs for all Actors.

    • Search for and select the Actor or Actor Group in the selection box.
    • Add Default Contexts: If you select this checkbox, the report will check these actor contexts:
      • For HRT, these are:
        • HROrganization
        • JobBoard
        • FinancialEnterpriseGroup
      • For FSM, these are:
        • HROrganization
        • EnterpriseGroup
        • FinancialEnterpriseGroup
    • Use the Include Context Properties boxes to search for and select actor contexts in addition to or instead of the default contexts.
  3. Click Create Report.
  4. When the report completes, review the data:
    • The main portion of the report has these columns:
      • Date: Date and time the report was started.
      • Input Data Area: The data area the report was run against.
      • Overall Status: This field is used to track the progress of the report generation. These status types can display:
        • Started: The report has been initiated but is not yet complete.
        • Completed: The report generation finished successfully.
        • Failed: The report generation process encountered an error and did not complete successfully.
      • Last Update: This field displays the most recent timestamp of when the report status was modified.
    • The Actor Context tab shows the ID of the actor, first and last name, and actor contexts used to generate the report.
    • The Actor Overview tab provides additional details about the data used in the report. If the Linked Employee Name column contains an alert, it means the linked employee name and the actor name do not match. This could be intentional as part of the implementation process but always verify if you see this alert.
    • Yes-Inactive: If this text is displayed in an actor's record, it means the actor has a responsibility assigned, but the responsibility has been inactivated.
  5. You can right-click to perform Options menu tasks, including exporting the list to either CSV or PDF format or print. For more information about exporting and printing, see Printing and scheduling options.
