Missing Security Classes

Perform these steps if you receive a notification of a missing security class. The notification means that a security class that is assigned to role is missing.

Only security classes that are active are included in the report. If you have deactivated a class, you are not notified about missing classes.

Note: A delivered security class might appear on this list when new features are phased into the application. Delivered security classes that appear on this list do not require changes or updates to the RoleSecurityClass business class, as they will be handled and will self-resolve in subsequent feature releases.
  1. As a user with access to the security administration menu, navigate to Administration Console > Security > Security Reports and select Missing Security Classes.

Missing security classes are displayed as a list.

    Note:

The missing security class list is automatically generated and data on this list must be maintained to avoid additional notifications.

  2. Determine if the security class should be associated with a role.
    1. Navigate to the RoleSecurityClass business class.
    2. Seach for the security class.
    3. If the security class is found, determine which roles the security class should be assigned to.
    4. If the security class is not found, assign the security class to the security role(s).
  3. Delete the missing security class from the Missing Seucurity Class list. This step must be performed to avoid further notifications.
    Note:

Delivered security classes that appear on this list can be safely removed.
