Copying a security class

Use this procedure to copy a security class in order to create a custom security class. Delivered security classes with names ending in _ST serve as convenient templates for defining new security classes.

  1. In the Security Administration, select Administration > Security Classes > Copy.
  2. Select the security class to copy from.
  3. Specify the name of the new security class to create. If you specify an existing name, you must select the Force Overwrite check box in order for the copy to take place.
  4. Click Submit.
