Starting and scheduling data replication

Use this procedure to schedule when a replication set is sent to its defined destinations. You can schedule the replication after the replication set is fully defined and its schema has been registered. By scheduling the replication to recur, you can have regular updates sent to the defined replication destinations.

Note: To be able to schedule a replication set, you must enable configurable features through the Configuration Parameters form and the user or actor must have a security role for which the Show All Schedule Actions Enabled feature is enabled.

  1. In the Administration Console, select Replication.
  2. On the Replication Sets form, select the replication set to schedule and click Replicate.
  3. To run the replication once, click Ok. Otherwise, on the Schedule form, specify a name, the schedule type, scheduling details, whether to use schedule exclusions or not, and the override action failure strategy.
