Creating columnar standard calendar

The standard columnar calendar is a set of time-based tables used for analytical processes in Birst Live Access. You can create this standard calendar by running a utility that builds the tables in the column store and loads the data into the appropriate table.

  1. From the Administration Console, click Database > Columnar Standard Calendars to show the Columnar Standard Calendar Maintenance window.
  2. Select an action:
    Action Description
    Create Creates the columnar calendar tables.
    Load Loads the data into the columnar tables.
    Create and Load Creates the columnar calendar tables and loads the data into the tables.
    Verify Verifies if the schema and tables exist, and if each table has the correct number of rows.
    Drop Drops all the columnar calendar tables.
  3. Select Default as the schema.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Optionally, click Schedule to select how often to schedule this run. Click Ok and Submit.
  6. To confirm if the action is complete, go to the Async Administrator queues and check the job status.
