Managing replication for HCM and FSM data areas

If you have access to both HCM and FSM, you only need to schedule a replication from one data area. The SEC_SECURITYMASTER_ST replication set includes two business classes, RolePermissionMaster and SecurityPermissionMaster, which contains the same data for both HCM and FSM and there is no need to run a separate replication.

To prevent replication from being triggered in both HCM and FSM, you can set the delivered replication set to inactive in either application.

  1. From Administration Console, select Database > Replication.
  2. Click the Maintain tab.
  3. Search and select the SEC_SECURITYMASTER_ST replication set.
  4. On the Definition tab, select the RolePermissionMaster and SecurityPermissionMaster check boxes in the Business Classes section.
  5. In the Inactive option, select Yes.
