Enabling a prompt before upload data is written

  1. Select Infor > Settings.
  2. Make sure Run Process in Background is enabled.
  3. To receive a notification when all processing uploads are done, enable Background Write Notification.
  4. Optional: To receive a write notification for each worksheet uploaded, enable Notify user per sheet.
  5. When an upload is ready to write data, a prompt asks you for permission to write data.
    • If Sheet Name is selected, Microsoft Excel locks and Infor Spreadsheet Designer writes the upload result.
    • If Write Later is selected, Infor Spreadsheet Designer saves an encrypted file containing the upload results in the %APPDATA%/Infor/BG folder.
