Verifying the Microsoft Web EdgeView2 runtime installation

Perform this task to verify that your computer contains a Microsoft component that is required by the Rich Client.
  1. On Microsoft Windows 11, select Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
    1. Select Apps > Apps & features.
    2. Locate the App list search field in the right-hand pane.
    3. Type webview2 into the field and click Search.
  2. Or, on Microsoft Windows 10, select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    1. On the Uninstall or change a feature pane, browse the alphabetical list to see if it contains Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
  3. If your computer already has the runtime program, then this task is complete.
  4. If your computer does not have the runtime program, then browse to https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/.
  5. If your organization’s policies permit it, then click Download Now.

    Select appropriate options and follow Microsoft's online steps to download and install the runtime program.
