The Encrypt activity node and the Decrypt activity node
The Encrypt activity node and the Decrypt activity nodes are used to encrypt and decrypt data based on a selected encryption protocol such as Pretty Good Privacy (PGP).
The Encrypt node is used to send encrypted data. The Decrypt node is used to receive and read data that has been encrypted.
Configuration of both nodes is described in this section. This section does not provide information about encryption types.
Note:
In a multi-tenant environment, the source file to be encrypted, or decrypted, is retrieved from the database, and the encrypted, or decrypted, file is written to the database.
