What can you do with the XML activity node?

Lawson developed the XML activity node to address customer interest in using XML Schema to interface with programs, customers, and vendors. As an example, many Lawson HR customers want to make use of an industry-standard protocol for interfacing with timecards. XML schema specifically for this purpose is available. Through the XML activity node, you can reference this standard schema in a process. The resulting process could take Lawson Payroll system data and send it in the appropriate XML format to a time card contractor.
