The Custom Activity node
This topic describes how to create a Custom Activity node.
Note: Starting with the 2024.10 release, the Custom
activity node will be deprecated and removed from the Infor Process Designer (IPD) tool,
Infor Process Designer for the Web (IPD Web), and runtime server. Additionally, this node
is no longer supported in multi-tenant environments and will be removed on a later date.
See KB3522595.
Note:
This node cannot be used in processes that are executed in a multi-tenant environment.
The Custom Activity node provides the ability to execute activities. Some custom activities are shipped with Infor Process Automation, including activities for batch functions, testing functions, and some basic utilities. Added custom activities may be developed by your company to extend Infor Process Automation functionality.
Custom activities are implemented as Java Beans. A Java Bean custom activity is also provided to run C++ language custom activities. See "Creating custom activities" in the Infor Process Automation Administration Guide.
