Downloading the .ionapi file

Before you can use oAuth2.0 support, you must create and download the ionapi file.

Note: The user who creates and downloads the file should have admin access, and all the IDM communication between IPA and IDM will be made through the user with access.
  1. Open API Gateway in Infor OS Portal of the IDM server to which you will connect.
  2. Click Authorized Apps.
  3. Click Add New App.
  4. Select Backend Service and click Save.
  5. Click Download Credentials.
  6. Search for a user.
    The user will need the IDM-User role in Security because all calls will be executed as this user.
  7. Download the ionapi file.
