Saving a log-in connection

  1. Launch Infor Process Designer.
  2. From the log-in page, click Manage Connections.
  3. On the Connection Manager dialog box, populate the following fields:

    • Connection: Specify a name for this connection. Use a name that clearly identifies the purpose of the connection.

    • Grid host: Name of the machine that you are logging in to.

    • Grid port: Port number for the instance that you are logging in to.

    • User: Specify the name of the user as whom you want to log in.

      Note that there is no field for password. Passwords are not saved. You will need to supply a password each time you log in.

    • Data area: Specify the name of the data area you want to access.

  4. Click Save and then click OK.

    The connection will be available from the Designer log-in page "Connection" field the next time you log in.
