Verify Microsoft WebView2 Runtime requirements

Verify that Microsoft WebView2 Runtime is installed on your machine.

  1. On Microsoft Windows 11, select Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
    1. Select Apps > Apps & features, then locate the App list search field in the right-hand pane.
    2. Specify webview2 into the field and click Search.
  2. Or, on Microsoft Windows 10, select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    1. On the Uninstall or change a feature pane, browse the alphabetical list to verify if Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is installed.

      If your machine already has the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime program, then this task is complete.

  3. If Microsoft WebView2 Runtime is not yet already set up on your machine, download the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime installer from the Microsoft website and install it as an administrator.
