Disabling email notifications for a user (optional end-user task)

This procedure disables notifications for only a single user. To disable email notifications for all users, see Enabling user notifications for all users.

Users who receive many notifications about pending work items can turn off email notifications of pending work items. Depending on this setting, notifications are either disabled or follow the default set by the process.

Users can easily reinstate notifications if they choose to do so.

From the Inbasket > User Options, users can disable (turn off) notifications or leave the "as default" (follow the process) setting.
