Configuring mail and timeout properties

The properties in this section are configured using the Process Server Administrator System Configuration.

  1. Access the Process Server Administrator and select Configuration > System Configuration.
  2. On Configuration Sets, open the "system" configuration set record.
  3. From the list of properties that display, select the property you want to change. Right-click and select Update.

    You can also select Update from the Actions menu.

    A dialog box for updating the property is displayed. Make changes as needed.

  4. Make changes to the following properties as needed:
    Property Description
    fileAccessCheckTime The timeframe, in minutes, used by the FileAccess activity node list files function. Any files that did not change during the timeframe are not picked up when its directory is updated. This improves system performance by preventing unnecessary work from being performed.
    mailFrom

    The email address from which system messages, such as failures and timeouts, will be sent unless an overriding address has been configured for a process.

    For example: IPAAdministrator@YourLocation.com

    mailServer

    The server from which system email messages will be sent.

    For example: smtp.YourCompany.com

    timeOutActionUser Use this parameter to list the name of a user, wo must be a valid actor in the Landmark system, for whom timeouts will be acted upon if the user does not respond to a work item in the Inbasket within the configured timeframe.
