Scheduling an alert notification
Alert notifications are scheduled and monitored using Async.
- On the Health Status page, select a data area.
- Click the Notification tab.
- Select Actions > Schedule Alert Notification.

Specify this information:
- Schedule Action Name

Specify the name of the alert notification schedule.
- Notification Type

Select the type of notification.
- Email Address (Optional)

Optionally, specify an email address to send an email notification.
- Schedule Type

Specify the schedule type. The type of schedule refers to how often a notification is made.
- First Time to Run

Specify the date and time when the notification will be first sent.
- Latest Time to Run

Specify the date and time when the notification will be last sent.
- Run Action Concurrently

Select to run action concurrently.
- Strategy

Select the course of action to do when a failure is encountered.
- Report Options

Select the report option when a failure is encountered.
- Threshold Minutes

Specify the number of minutes to wait before proceeding after a failure is encountered.
- Number of Retries
-
Specify the maximum number of retries.
- Continue On Failure to Run

Select this option to continue process even if a failure is encountered.
- Click OK.
