Naming conventions for proxies in IPA

These terms are used when discussing proxies in IPA:

• Proxy User

  The user who is assigned a task to perform on behalf of another user

• Proxied User

  The user who needs a proxy to perform tasks, for example, the manager who is going on vacation and needs PTO approval covered

• Proxied Task

  The task that is being assigned to another user, for example, PTO_Approver

• Personal Task

  The task that all users have which has their user ID for a task name
