Reverting to old startup behavior

The LPA-Channels, LPA-Dispatcher, and LPA Grid nodes now default to a fast startup behavior. This means that they report the started status to the Grid almost immediately but load the data area repository in the background. They will not start processing work units immediately even though they appear to be started.

If the old behavior is preferred, follow these steps to configure the behavior:

  1. Access the ION Grid Management pages.
  2. Click the Configuration Manager button.
  3. Click Applications.
  4. Click the application containing your IPA.
  5. Click Edit Properties.
  6. Expand the LPA Settings section.
  7. Expand the LPA section.
  8. Specify true for the pfi.preload.repositories property.
