Hiding the lower detail panel of a work item

By default, when viewing your work in the Inbasket, the top half of the page shows the list of work items and the bottom half shows the details for the selected item in that list. For some, having more pages to display a longer list of work items is preferred, rather than paging through a few at a time. The lower section may also be too small to display custom forms.

  1. Access the Web UI.
  2. Select Process Server > My Work.
  3. Move the mouse over the menu bar that has the Open and Refresh buttons.
  4. Press Ctrl + Shift and click to display the list information of what you are currently viewing.
  5. Click Configure.
  6. If you do not have a previous configuration for the list, a dialog box appears. Click Create.
  7. Click the pencil icon.
  8. Locate the section of the code called "Detail Sections" and delete the whole section.
  9. Save your changes.
  10. Reopen the My Work form in the Web UI.

    After removing the "Detail Sections", you can still view the details of the work item by double-clicking the work item.
