Assigning proxies (administrator procedure)

Users can make their own proxy assignments. An administrator might need to make proxy assignments on behalf of users in an emergency, for example, if a user becomes ill or forgets to make his or her own assignments prior to a vacation.

  1. Access the Process Server Administrator and select Configuration > User Configuration > Proxies.
  2. From the list of Users, select the user to be proxied.
  3. From the list of Tasks, select the task to be proxied.
  4. On the Proxy List pane, select Actions > Create or click the Create button.

  5. If you want the proxy assignment to be temporary, specify Effective Date and Expiration Date.
  6. When you are finished making the proxy assignment, click Save or Save and New to continue making proxy assignments for other tasks for the proxied user.
