Device registration
All users who require access to privileged actions must register a device, typically a phone, to which a code is sent when they attempt to access the privileged action.
Prerequisite: A time-based one time password (TOTP) app, such as Microsoft Authenticator, must be installed on users' devices. Uses should follow download and installation instructions from the app provider.
The result of this setup is that, when the user attempts to perform a privileged action, a code is sent to their phone. They must locate the code in their authentication app and submit it to the Infor form before proceeding.
- Navigate to FSM or HRT and, from the toolbar at the top-right of the page, select User Settings (user icon).
- From the menu on the left pane, select .
- Click + Add New MFA.
- Select TOTP and provide a name for the device.
- Using the device, scan the QR code that displays on the computer screen.
- Click Submit.
