Permission BODs: Overview
Permission Business Object Documents (BODs) are a special type of BOD intended to interface with Infor Governance, Risk and Compliance.
This chapter describes configuration for Landmark Technology to enable
permission BODs. Additional configuration is required in Infor Goverance, Risk and Compliance.
Refer to that product's documentation for details.
Note: On-premises installations: In order to use permission BODs, you must use
Infor ION and have enabled BOD processing. (If you run Landmark in the Cloud, ION BODs are
configured.)
Permission BODs contain data about roles, security classes, securable objects, and actions that are allowed for an object and are used to determine if access is assigned appropriately.
For example, if a role has been changed so that it provides access to additional securable objects, the permission BODs execution output will show this information. You can in turn determine if this change affects compliance at your site and, if necessary, make changes in role or security class assignment.
