Actor Context templates: Overview
An Actor Context is a user attribute value that can be used for authorization and application defaulting purposes. All Landmark Actors have at least one Actor Context and, depending on the products they use, might have several. The values are unique keys which can be unwieldy to work with when adding them to an Actor record.
Landmark provides a framework for creating an Actor Context template that simplifies associating Actor Context values with Actor records.
First, you create the template by associating the Actor Context values that your Actors need. You can create a single template or multiple templates depending on your requirements.
After you create a template, you link it to the Actor records that need it. You can link a template when you create a new Actor individually. You can also mass-assign templates when you load Actors to your system of if you want to update existing Actors with new or updated templates.
