Creating new request actions

Use this procedure to create new request actions with parameters and workflow.

  1. Select Configuration Console > Configuration > Create.
  2. On the Configuration tab, in the Configure and Add Actions section, click Create New Request Action.
  3. On the General tab, specify this information:
    Business Class
    Select a business class.
    Action
    Select an action.
    Action Type
    Select an action type.
  4. To override the default label for the action, on the General tab, select the Override Default Action Label check box and specify a name for the label.
  5. To add a condition, on the Validity tab, select a condition. To negate the condition, select the Negate check box.
  6. To add required fields, click the Required tab and select the check boxes for Effective Date Required, Reason Code Required, or Action Comment Required. To add a business subject, select a subject.
  7. To add a workflow, click the Workflow tab and select a process flow service. Optionally, select a web application.
  8. Click Submit.
