Configuring actions

Use this procedure to configure actions in the Configuration Console. Actions within a business class can require users to supply an effective date, reason, or comment when the user performs the action. You can change these action requirement settings. You can also add entrance or exit rules or define your own actions that extend application-delivered logic and create forms for the action.

  1. Select Configuration Console > Basic Access > Business Logic > Actions.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Business Class
    Select a business class.
    Action Name
    Specify an action name.
    Type
    Select an action type.
    Status
    Select a status.
    User Action
    Specify a user action ID.
    Description
    Provide a description for the user action ID.
    LPL
  4. Click Save.
