Using the LPL viewer

Use this procedure to view the current Landmark Pattern Language (LPL) delivered by the application. This includes views for the business logic and user interface.

You can view the LPL to understand possible configuration changes. For example, you can view the LPL for your configuration and then compare the configuration to the delivered LPL.

  1. Select Configuration Console > LPL Viewer.
  2. Click a tab to view all items of that type in the system.
    • Business Views
    • Lists
    • Forms
    • Card Views
    • Pages
    • Menus
    • Web Applications
    • Type Fields
    For business views and type fields:
    • Click the Business Logic tab to view the LPL details for the business class or type field. For type fields, you can see the group fields that are part of the type field or key field.
    • Click the User Interface tab to view the LPL details for user interface items such as lists and forms.
  3. Select an item to view the LPL details.
