Validating configurations

Use this procedure to perform a validation of all active configurations and personalizations in the Configuration Console.

  1. Select Configuration Console > Utilities > Validate Configurations.
    The function runs in report-only mode unless you select the Update Config Status check box. If you select the Update Config Status check box, configurations are changed, activated, and invalidated as needed. If you select the Strict Parsing check box, configurations are checked for grammar and syntax errors.
  2. Click Submit.
  3. To view the results, select Configuration Console > Utilities > Validation Results. Right-click an item and select Open to view details.
