Configuring fields

Use this procedure to configure fields in the Configuration Console. You can modify or add individual components that are displayed in lists and forms. These components include user fields, compute fields, derived fields, buttons, check boxes, and conditions that control aspects of a field's behavior.

  1. Select Configuration Console > Basic Access > Business Logic > Fields.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Business Class
    Select a business class.
    Field Name
    Specify a name for the field.
    Type
    Select a type.
    Status
    Select a status.
    User Field Id
    Specify a user field ID.
    Description
    Provide a description for the field.
    LPL
  4. Click Save.
