Creating snapshots

Use this procedure to create snapshots from bundles. You must create a bundle before you create a snapshot.

  1. Select Configuration Console > Change Management > Manage Changes or Configuration Console > Change Management > Administration.
  2. On the Bundles tab, select a bundle.
  3. Click Create Snapshot.
    Alternatively, you can use the Quick Create function. Select Configuration Console > Change Management > Administration > Quick Create and click Create Snapshot.
  4. Specify this information:
    Snapshot Name
    Specify a name for the snapshot.
    Description
    Optionally, provide a description of the snapshot.
    File
    Optionally, select a file to include in the bundle. For example, an approval email, a business case, or a spreadsheet. After the snapshot is created, this file is available in the Documentation link.
  5. Click Submit.
