Setting up users for the service for FTP and for access to the Landmark Administration Console
Use this procedure to add the identities of users to the service that you created for FTP, link actors to the identities, and assign the necessary security role to the actors so that they have access to the Landmark Administration Console.
- Access the environment data area. In the Web UI, select Administration Console > Other > Application & System Links.
- On the Landmark Reveal page, in the Security Management panel, click User Management and then select Identity.
- On the Identity List form, click Create and select Create Identity.

Specify this information:
- Service
- Select the service you created for FTP.
- Username
- Specify the FTP user name.
- Password
- Specify the FTP user's password.
- Click Save.
- On the Identity List form, double-click the identity you want to link to an actor.
- On the Identity Details form, on the Actor Assigned to Identity tab, click Create and select Assign Existing Identity to Actor.
- Select the actor and click Save.
- From the User Management menu, select Actor Management > Actor.
- On the Actor List form on the Actors tab, double-click the actor who needs the security role for the Landmark Administration Console.

On the Roles tab on the
Actor form, click Create and select Assign Existing Role to Actor. Select
a role that has the appropriate security classes assigned to it. There are several
available security classes for the Landmark Administration Console. If necessary, create a
role and assign that security class to it. Navigate to Security Administration > User Management > Role.
Security Class Description AdministratorConsoleAccess_ST Grants access to the Landmark Administration Console. This includes access to the main Landmark Administration Console form as well as the various subforms that are accessible through it. AppConfigurationAdminCdAccess_ST Grants access to the subset of the Landmark Administration Console that involves application configurations and personalizations. The GlobalUIConfigAccess_ST security class also gives access to the application configurations and personalizations. However, in addition, it gives access to the Configuration Console for the data area.
AppConfigurationBasicCdAccess_ST Grants access to the business tasks for verifying configurations and clearing the configuration caches in the Landmark Administration Console. AsyncAdministratorAccess_ST Grants the access required to suspend or resume async queues through the Landmark Administration Console. DatabaseEnvironmentAdminDbAccess_ST Grants access to the database utilities available through the Landmark Administration Console. DatabaseEnvironmentBasicDbAccess_ST Grants access in the Landmark Administration Console to the Database Count, Database Verify, and Spelling Dictionary Maintenance utilities. SecurityConfigAccess_ST Grants access to the Landmark Administration Console forms for working with security classes. - Click Save.
