Editing spelling dictionaries

Use this procedure to edit a spelling dictionary. If you have access to the text file for the spelling dictionary, you can also edit that text file and then upload it. This is the recommended approach for Alternate and Locale type dictionaries. Also, to edit a user dictionary through this procedure, you must be in the environment data area.

  1. In the Web UI, search for SpellingDictionary. Expand the Data menu item and click SpellingDictionary.
  2. On the Spelling Dictionary List, select the dictionary you want to edit.
  3. Click the ellipsis button and select Drill Around > Edit Dictionary.
  4. Add or delete words in the dictionary.
  5. Press Return after each added word.
  6. When finished, click Save.
