Installing Infor Spreadsheet Designer for Microsoft Excel

Infor Spreadsheet Designer is installed by using Microsoft ClickOnce technology. This technology enables an application desktop component to automatically update itself when application changes are detected. Each time you access your Excel application, the application searches the previously installed location. If a new version is available, it is automatically installed.

Infor Spreadsheet Designer is bundled with Landmark. Administrators do not need to set up an installation point.

If Microsoft Excel is currently running, close Microsoft Excel.
To access the Infor Landmark Technology reveal page, select Administration Console > Other > Application & System Links.
In the Spreadsheet Designer pane, click Install Spreadsheet Designer.
Select the appropriate installation:
- Install with Prerequisites (requires Administrator rights): This installation file includes prerequisites necessary to run Infor Spreadsheet Designer. To use the installation file, you must have administrator rights in the location you are installing to.
  - Microsoft Office
  - .NET Framework 4.8
  - Windows Installer 4.5
  - Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime
- Install without Prerequisites: This installation file includes only Infor Spreadsheet Designer and does not require administrator rights.
Click Download Infor Spreadsheet Designer Installer from the appropriate section.
Save setup.bat to a location to which you have both read and write access.
Navigate to the location to which you saved setup.bat. Run setup.bat.
Review the license agreement and click Accept.
Review the license agreement and click Accept.
After the installation is complete, click Close.
Access Microsoft Microsoft Excel > Infor.

The Insert Query and Insert Map features display on the Microsoft Office ribbon.

Note: Once you have installed Infor Spreadsheet Designer, any updates will be installed automatically.
