Settings options dialog box
To view the Settings options dialog box, navigate to
.Batch mode
- Query in Batch Mode: Enables batch queries
- Upload in Batch Mode: Enables
batch data uploadsNote: Some features such as User Folder Query, Array Hierarchy, Proxy, Agent Stereotype, Set Actions, and Request Actions are not supported is this mode.
Background Process
- Run Process in Background: Allows queries and uploads to run in the background.
- Background Write Notification: Enables notification when all running queries and uploads are done.
- Notify user per sheet: Enables the background write notification for each worksheet uploaded.
Query
- Query Page Size: Sets the number of rows per batch retrieved by a query.
- Auto Compute: Allows Infor Spreadsheet Designer to compute the query paging size automatically. Uncheck this box to set a custom page size.
- Show All Fields: Displays all fields defined for the selected business class in the field list box. Disabling this feature to display only the persistent fields.
- : Uses the main thread for handling Single Thread Apartment (STA) errors. When enabled, this option disables the cancel button while querying.
- Query Data Validation: Allows Infor Spreadsheet Designer to validate incoming data from Infor Landmark.
Upload
- Upload Page Size: Sets the number of rows per batch available in a single upload.
- Enable Comments: Allows you to restrict columns from a data upload.
- Auto Compute: Allows Infor Spreadsheet Designer to compute the upload paging size automatically. Uncheck this box to set a custom page size.
- Skip Cells with Formula: The Populate All Fields option skips populating fields generated on the server into cells if they contain formulas.
- Data Validation: Validates the length of the data inputted by the user.
- Stale Element Exception Handling: Enables retrying a process if data processing fails.
- Retry Count: Number of attempts. Enter a number between 1 and 9.
- Time Between Retries: Time to wait between attempts in milliseconds. Enter a number between 3000 and 9999.
Field Labels
- Enable Field Labels: Enables the Toggle Field Labels switch in the Upload and Queries panes. This allows the user to add a Labels row. For more information, see Field labels in Infor Spreadsheet Designer.
HTTP Connection Timeout
- Timeout Value: Sets the HTTP Connection Timeout in milliseconds for the client. This can help resolve timeout issues. If this timeout is set to a value greater than what is configured in the server, the server value will be used.
Logging
- ISD Debug Mode: Disabled by default. Enabling this mode adds more logging information for query and upload transactions. The additional information helps in the investigation of problems encountered using Infor Spreadsheet Designer. Expect the total size of the log file to become significantly larger than normal.
- DB Session Debug Mode: Disabled by default. Enabling this mode captures logging information for query and upload transactions under data layer that helps investigate performance issues. This mode should be enabled only when necessary or when asked by Infor support, and should be turned off as soon as replication is done and logs have been captured.
Relation Settings
- Page Size: Sets the paging size of the relation of a business class. This will return the list of relations in batches.
