Enabling a prompt before Excel is locked to write data

When this option is set, a prompt will appear when a background query is finished processing on the server. This allows you to choose to either write the data immediately or postpone the action.

  1. Select Infor > Settings.
  2. If background queries have not yet been enabled, select Run Process in Background.
  3. Close the Settings window.
  4. Select Infor > Background Write Notification.
  5. Insert a query and click Refresh All.
