Using Infor Notifications

Users who have downloaded the appropriate application can take actions on Inbasket items from their mobile device. The mobile device application is called Infor Notifications.

Most Inbasket and mobile device users should be able to use Infor Notifications without any difficulty. This topic describes some slight differences.

Share this information with users and include any local information (server name, port, SSL setting) as needed.

Download the Infor Notifications mobile application

The Infor Notifications mobile application is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. Users can download the application from their application store.

When users start Infor Notifications, they will be prompted for this information:

  • Infor Landmark user name and password

  • Infor Landmark server name, port and SSL setting (on or off)

Using the Infor Notifications mobile application

In general, Infor Notifications works the same as the Inbasket on other devices. Differences are device-specific and most users who are familiar with mobile devices will find the application intuitive.

Tap New to see all your unread notifications, including action requests, messages, reports, etc. If a workunit has not been acted upon, opening an item will redirect you to the additional navigation or information. If a workunit has been acted upon, its view will open.

Tap Recent to see all your notifications that have either been updated/read in the last 10 days or have a pending need for action. Other notifications still needing action will be flagged with a red alert.

Tap Tracking to see a history of a workunit.

The Search feature is available for all functions.
