Running the User Security report

This report shows all roles and security classes for the specified user in the current data area.

  1. From the Administration Console main page, access Security>Security Reports.
  2. Select the User Security report.
  3. To create a new report, select Actions>Create User Security Report.
  4. Provide the ID of the user that you want to report on and select the data area. For the Include LPL option, select Yes or No. Selecting Yes generates the LPL details for each rule that can be viewed when you click on a line in the report. Selecting No (or leaving the field blank) means the LPL will not be generated.

    A report of the user's associated roles and security classes appears on-screen.

  5. If you selected Yes for the Include LPL option, select a row in the list to view the LPL for the rule.
  6. You can export the list to either CSV or PDF format. From the menu, select Options>Export to CSV or Export to PDF. If you select CSV, you might need to provide a program to view the report, for example, a browser or text editor.
  7. Select options for background print scheduling and notification and for report formatting. See "Print and scheduling options" later in this section.
