Running the Securable Object Access Details report

This report shows the security policies that have been assigned to a specific securable object in a data area. It is similar to the Securable Object Policy report in terms of how it is run and the information it displays. The main difference between the reports is that the Securable Object Access Details report shows additional data in columns. The columns contain security policy parsed LPL components, including rules, actions, conditions and other objects, that were previously available only in LPL format. as well as in LPL format at the bottom of the page.

Note: 

You must know the exact name of the Securable Object you want to report on, including case and spacing.

  1. From the Administration Console main page, access Security>Security Reports.
  2. Select the Securable Object Access Details report.
  3. To create a new report, select Actions>Create Sec Object Report
  4. You can provide the ID of the user that you want to report on or leave the Actor field blank to report on all. Select the data area. Select Securable Object Type, for example, Business Class, from the dropdown. Specify the exact name of a securable object in the Securable Object Name field.
  5. If you want to filter by roles, check the Filter By Role button and then select Run for single Role or for all roles. Select Securable Object Type and then select Run for single Secuarble Object or for all.
  6. When the report completes, it displays on-screen, You can export the list to either CSV or PDF format. From the menu, select Options>Export to CSV or Export to PDF. If you select CSV, you might need to provide a program to view the report, for example, a browser or text editor.Securable Object Access Details report example
