Creating roles using the Web UI

Use this procedure if you are creating a security role using the Web UI.

If your system is configured to use user BODs, make sure the role exists in the operating system before assigning users to it. In the Web UI, access the User Management application, and then Role Management. On the Roles List, select Actions > Create, and then create a record.

  1. In the Web UI, access User Management. Select User Management > Role Management.
  2. On the Roles list, select Actions > Create and create a role record. It is a good idea to include a Description of the role.
