Using the LPL editor

Landmark Pattern Language (LPL) is the language for many of the source files in Landmark, such as those for business classes and user interface objects. Do not edit the LPL unless you have detailed knowledge of it, because editing the LPL can lead to invalid configurations.

See the Configuration Console Reference Guide: Landmark Pattern Language (LPL) for LPL syntax.

Note: Changes in the LPL editor may not be maintained when using the Configuration Console GUI, such as the form layout editor. A warning is displayed in the system. After you make changes in the LPL editor, use the LPL editor for all changes to the record.
  1. Click an item on the console to view the LPL details.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Make changes in the LPL text editor.
  4. Click Submit.
