Configuration development process

We recommend that you create configurations in a provisional or test scenario before you make the configurations available to all users. When configuration changes are made to a production environment, the changes are applied when they are saved.

  • Use the Make Personalization feature to try out changes. If the personalization was successful, you can use the Make Configuration feature to apply it to all users.

    See Configurations, personalizations, and reports.

  • Use a test environment to develop configuration changes. Use the Change Management feature to import a snapshot or use the Utilities feature to import configurations and personalizations.

    See Change management and Utilities.
