Adding new navigations

Use this procedure to create new navigations that point to targets that do not have a delivered navigation. These items can be accessed in configurations anywhere that a navigation is permitted. For example, you can configure a new navigation to navigate to an existing form or a new configured form.

Note: You can only create new navigations. Existing delivered navigations cannot be modified.
  1. Select Configuration Console > Configuration > Create.
  2. On the Configuration tab, in the Add A New Component section, click Navigation.
  3. Specify this information:
    Business View
    Select a business class.
    Navigation Name
    Specify a name for the navigation item. Use a unique name that is compliant with your standard naming conventions.
  4. Click Submit.
    By default, the navigation points to the primary form for the business class. To change the target from form is primary, use the LPL Editor.
