Comparing your configurations against the current LPL

Your configured LPL is not changed by an application upgrade.

The Delivered LPL Compare feature shows you what changed in the application to help you determine if your configuration is still needed or if your configuration needs to merge in a new feature.

You can compare your List, Form, Page, and Menu configurations against the current LPL. If changes are detected, the system will show you the differences.

The compare functionality does not apply to folders and personalizations..

  1. In the Infor Rich Client, in the Configuration Console, select the Settings menu (gear icon) and then select Filter By Delivered LPL Change.
  2. In the Delivered LPL Changes field, select the date of the Landmark application update.
  3. To more easily see configuration files, select Settings > Expand All.
  4. Select a configured list, form, page, or menu record to display the manage configuration information.
  5. Select Delivered LPL Compare in the top menu. The compare screen displays three panels: your current configuration displays in an editable pane, the delivered LPL and configured LPL display below in compare panes.

    Differences are displayed in the compare panes.

    Use the menu in the Delivered LPL and Configured LPL pane to view past versions of delivered LPL and configured LPL.
