Configuring the ION Inbox Query node

The ION Inbox Query node must be configured with connection and ION configuration (DB schema) information.

  1. Select the ION Inbox Query "start" node. On the General tab, specify this information:
    Connection information
    • Select the Configuration name to be used for this node from a previously configured and saved ION connection. If you do not select a name from the list, the default configuration will be used.

    • Select Override connection to specify parameters specific to the node.

    Override DB Schema

The default DB Schema will be used. You can use a different schema by selecting the Override Schema flag and then selecting the schema you want to use.

  2. Specify the ION Inbox parameters:
    Filter by

When you configure the ION Inbox Query node to retrieve records, you specify values for a filter. These are the filter types:

    • Status: you can select more than one status code. Inbox records that match any of the codes you specified are retrieved.

    • Status + BOD Type: checks for both values. An Inbox record must match both of the specified values in order to be retrieved.

    • Status + BOD Type + To Logical Id: checks for all three values. An Inbox record must match all of the specified values in order to be retrieved.

    • Inbox Id: the specified Inbox record will be retrieved

Each filter type requires value(s) to be specified to match the filter being used.

  3. Select Set status to and select from the list of status code if you want the status code of matching records to be updated.
  4. On the On Error tab, specify this information:
What should happen on an error?

    Select from the available options.

    Notify

Select the check box if you want to send a notification when an error occurs. If this option is selected, you must fill out the notification details.

    Custom log entry

Select the check box if you want a custom log entry in addition to the system-generated log entry.

  5. Select the ION Inbox Query "end" node. On the Break Condition tab, specify any valid true/false conditions that must be satisfied if you want to end the iteration.
    Note:

If a variable is used as part of the condition, you must remove the surrounding brackets ("<!" and ">").
