Configuring Session Timeout at the Domain Level

You can configure session timeout for users of a specific domain to be different from general user session timeout. You might choose to configure this way if, for example, you have a domain outside the firewall for casual users or a domain for users who log in through a kiosk.

  1. From Infor Rich Client (or the web-based UI you use to access administration menus), select Security System Management > Domain Management > SSO Domain Property.
  2. From the SSO Domain list, click New from the toolbar to add a new property.
  3. Populate these properties:
    • SSO Domain: Existing domains appear in the list. Select the one for which you want to add a timeout.
    • SSO Domain Property: Specify DomainTimeout. Type it exactly as shown.
    • Domain Value: Specify a number in minutes that the session will timeout if no user input has occurred.
  4. Click Save.
  5. This change requires a system restart. When you are ready for the timeout to take effect, perform the appropriate commands to stop and restart the application server and the Landmark server.
