Managing the Configuration Cache

Use this procedure to access the Configuration Cache Manager in order to determine if caching issues are preventing you or other users from seeing the configurations you have made.

You can clear the cache for all configurations or for an individual configuration that you are working on. If a configuration change you have made does not appear when you attempt to test it, you should consider clearing the cache for that configuration and then re-testing.

To manage the configuration cache

  1. In the Infor Rich Client, from the Start menu, select Configure > Manage Cache.
  2. Examine the details of the cache information. For information about what to look for, see How to Examine the Configuration Cache.
  3. Select the items that you want to clear the cache for.
    • To clear all of the detail caches for a node/cache type combination, select the node, then one or more caches (use Ctrl+Click to select multiple), and then select Actions > Clear Cache.

    • To clear the cache for individual configuration, select the appropriate node and cache type combination, and then select the configuration or configurations in the Detail pane (use Ctrl+Click to select multiple), and select Actions > Clear Cache Detail.
