Managing Infor Rich Client trusted certificates

Use this procedure to update or install a trusted certificate for Infor Rich Client. Trusted certificates are needed if you are using HTTPS when connecting to the Infor Rich Client or using HTTPS to install Infor Rich Client from a server that uses a certificate with an unknown signer . An administrator will need to access the Infor Rich Client with certificate checking turned off in order to install a certificate for the first time. To do this, the administrator should append ?allowuntrusted=true to the URL when accessing Infor Rich Client.

  1. Select Start > Applications > Administration Console > Other > IRC Trusted Certificates.
  2. Select Create from the Actions menu.
  3. Select the update method, either By Url or By File. The default method is By Url.
  4. If you selected By Url, specify the URL from which to update the certificate. Optionally, select the Add All Certificates Found check box.
  5. If you selected By File, browse to the directory containing the file from which to update the certificate.
  6. Click Save. The system completes the certificate information.
