Process performance

This chapter provides performance tuning techniques which can help you design efficient processes. Many performance improvements are in the latest releases and customer updates, so ensure that you have upgraded to the latest release and patch level of Infor Landmark Technology.

Note:

For Lawson users, you may have designed processes from previous versions of ProcessFlow that were installed on the same server as Infor Lawson System Foundation (LSF). If you move the IPA engine workflow off of the LSF server, you may experience slower processes because of network speed limitations. Revisit the design of your processes to minimize network traffic as much as possible.
Ensure that IPA is the right tool for your workflow and integration jobs. For example, if you are extracting bulk data from a database, using a native tool for the extraction (provided by the database vendor) will perform faster than using IPA.
