Adding a resource

The available options are People and Thing.

Things are resources such as printers, queues or computers that you might want to track/secure through Resource Management / Lawson Security.

Select People for adding users.

• Attributes: A list of attributes available for the type of RM object (People or Thing) that you select is displayed. Include those that should be updated for the user you are adding. Multiple values may be modified at one time using the | delimiter (for example, AdministratorRole|EmployeeRole|).

• Value: Select a variable from the drop-down or specify a value for the attribute.

The list of all available services is displayed on this tab. Select any that should be attached to the user entry. You will be prompted to populate attributes for the service.

For example, if you add the SSOP service (required for all Infor Lawson users), you will be prompted to add values for Password and User.
